Therapy Sessions
We offer 60-minute weekly therapy sessions, with private-pay and insurance options. Insurance participation varies by clinician. Please contact us to confirm which therapist is in-network with your plan and to discuss fees.
If you do not carry Medicaid or BCBS, we are considered an out-of-network provider, if your insurance provider offers OON benefits, you might qualify for partial reimbursement.
HSA, FSA and all major credit cards are accepted. Payment is due at the time of service, and a credit card will be stored on file.
Online or In-person
We offer in-person appointments in Lincoln, Nebraska, and telehealth for clients located in Nebraska. We enjoy meeting face-to-face, and telehealth can make counseling more accessible when you live at a distance or have a busy schedule. We can help you consider which option fits your needs.
Out-of-Network Benefits
Many insurance companies offer "out-of-network" benefits. In this situation, you will pay out of pocket at the time of service and submit a claim to your insurance company for reimbursement. You may do this on the insurance company's member website or portal. You will be provided with the necessary paperwork, known as a Superbill, that your insurance company will use to reimburse you if out-of-network benefits are available with your plan. Many of our clients use their Health Savings/Flex Spending accounts for our services, whether they have insurance or not.
Cancellation/ Reschedule Policy
Cancellations and reschedules must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged for the full session. You will receive an appointment reminder text. There are many people seeking help, timely cancellations and reschedules allow for that appointment time to be filled with another individual in need.
No Show Policy
You will be charged the full fee if you do not show up to your scheduled session.
Do I need to be a Christian?
Not at all. Our practice is grounded in Christian faith, and we welcome people of all faiths and backgrounds. We see you as worthy of care, dignity, and belonging. We respect your beliefs and preferences, and faith is included in counseling in ways that fit your needs and wishes.
Insurance/Fees
Private-pay options are available. Insurance participation varies by clinician; please contact us to confirm in-network options and benefits for your plan.
Good Faith Estimate
If you do not have insurance, or you are not using insurance for your care at Vine & Branch Counseling, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of your expected charges before you begin. You may request one at any time — before scheduling or during care — by calling us at 402-413-8841.
You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
